Coach Registration

Any paid or voluntary coaches are required to complete the registraiton process annually, ths is a simplet 3 step process outlined below.

 

Step 1 - Complete the Online Registration Form & Submit your Coaching Qualifications 

This form should be completed annually; for first time registrations, coaching qualifications must be sent to the email listed in the online form within 48 hours of completing.

Step 2 - Complete The Coaching Code of Conduct Document 

Once the online form has been filled in, the club should then complete the code of conduct with the coach. Ensuring all information is correct and that is has been countersigned by a member of the committee.

Step 3 - Collect your Coach Access Card 

If your coaching at the Stevenson Building or Garscube Sports Complex, you'll be provided with a coach access card to allow you access through the gates during your club's training times*. When your card is ready to be collected, we'll notify you via the email address provided during the registration process.

*Access will not be provided out with club training sessions*

 

Courses & Qualifications Funding 

 

We have a fund available to support current students with the cost of coaching qualifications or courses relevant to your sport. This form should be used for any person looking to apply for financial support from GUSA towards the cost of a coaching qualification or course to support the club or individual.

A person can apply for up to 50% total cost, please note applications must be received at least 8 weeks prior to the course start date. This will be reviewed by the team and an outcome provided to the club/individual. Note, it is not guaranteed that applications will be successful, please ensure as much detail is entered as possible to support the application.
